March 21, 2004Well, *&^%Yesterday I planned out this great entry about making progress on the fair isle dress and then losing one of the colors, and whether the cat had stolen it. And when I found it, that Sundae wasn't telling about how the ball got lost. But I didn't write it up because I really wanted to finish the fair isle border and show it off. So here it is: But while setting up the shot, I noticed this: Do you see it? Center row. The mistake is only in the last 4 repeats of the pattern, but I don't think I can leave it that way now. Goodbye, one day of progress. At least now I don't have to carry around 6 balls of yarn -- I have all the lengths cut perfectly for my purposes. Reminds me of the Monty Python "String" sketch... Don't you HATE it when you find a tiny error that only you will probably notice, but that just HAUNTS you until you have to redo it? I do. Grr! Hopefully you'll be able to whip it right back out... :0) Posted by: ms. amy at March 21, 2004 11:21 PMThe colors in this one are so pretty! Posted by: Kerstin at March 28, 2004 06:16 AM |
